Visit of Coaches and Players from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota USA: Sunday May 7th, 3-5pm
Next Sunday afternoon (3-5) we will be hosting two tennis coaches and 13 talented young players (many of whom are qualified instructors) from the tennis squad of the above University. This is the fifth such visit to ATC (last was in 2017) – head coach, Jeff Halberg, has long connections with Alnwick (formerly played for our teams).
Everyone is invited to join what should be a fun and enjoyable tennis event. It will be informally run with the opportunity for some drills or just playing social tennis with our visitors.
There will be a juniors’ session (under parental guidance/supervision) from 3-4pm and an adult session from 4-5pm. The tennis will be followed by refreshments and the chance to chat to our visitors.
It’s a wonderful opportunity – we don’t host international visitors very often.
We hope many of you will choose to join in. You can just turn up, but it would be very helpful if you could say in advance if you plan to be there.
